As John stood there with two of his disciples, Jesus passed, and John stared hard at Him and said, "Look, there is the Lamb of God" Hearing this the two disciples followed Jesus
John 1:35-37

John's insight and devotion to the Father's loving will and purpose illumined at that moment his mind and understanding; he saw the Man whom he had known since childhood as the beloved of the Father and Saviour of the world. Comprehending little of that which was becoming apparent to John, two of his disciples followed Him whom their leader had marked out, and remained with Him that day.

And so the days of learning and preparation passed into the time of discipleship of the Word Incarnate, but not before one of the two had brought with him his brother to share the search, the knowledge, the discipleship and the ministry. And the brother was transformed by the experience, through a humble following and faithful commitment often through failure, a Galilean fisherman became a rock-like leader, and a signpost to many down the ages

Faithful commitment is the key to maturity, true discipleship and fulfilment, Seek to be true and faithful to that which is presented to the heart's centre. And ask for the power of My Indwelling to further this in you to the end.
