Jesus said, "When they hand you over to the council, do not worry about how you should speak or what to say; what you are to say will be given you when the time comes; because it is not you who will be speaking; the Spirit of the Father will be speaking in you."
Matthew 10:19

All who bear witness to truth do even to the point of persecution by others, are primarily captives of My love. They are where they find themselves because they speak what they hear in their inmost being because they can do no other, if they are to remain true to themselves. Shall I not be with them, then, strengthening, reassuring: and will the Father not give them words to speak when they are brought to judgement, for He will continue to witness to the truth despite the contrary action of those who seek to pervert justice or to ignore the requirement of mercy,

And the Father speaks also through the mind and lips of all who seek to live in the light of His holiness, bearing witness to it in work and action. Every one of the Father's beloved children who daily and hourly commits his whole self to the search for truth and integrity and service in love becomes the centre from which the Father speaks in His own way and at His own time, as He wills. Let this both challenge and encourage you to total commitment, and encourage you to rest and renewal in Him.
