Jesus said, "When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, He will be my witness . And you will be witnesses because you have been with me from the outset"
John 16:7-15

The Spirit of Truth is one and undivided, illuminating, empowering and bearing witness to that which signifies in creation , revealing the loving purpose of the Heavenly Father for all that is.

And the witness to Me of My disciples both in My incarnate life and down the ages is the Spirit of Truth Himself. It is He who bears witness through My faithful, committed ones , revealing the love of the Father expressed in the saving work of the Son. And as He works and witnesses through the faithful so are they fulfilled as true children of the Father , already members of His eternal Kingdom of light and love .

And if that knowledge is life and joy to those who are truly mine it is both challenge and condemnation to those who perceiving the light of the witness or truth, ignore or seek to extinguish it in themselves and in others. The shadow cast by them on the children of light will pass as a summer cloud: "sorrow abides for a season but joy comes in the morning".
