At the
sight of Mary's tears and those of
the Jews who followed her, with a
sigh that came straight from the heart….Jesus
wept. Still sighing, Jesus reached
the tomb
John
11:33-38
As I suffer in each child of man
who rejects Our life and light and
love, so do I identify with every
one who suffers loss and sadness
in life's way. Throughout My life
and in My death I took upon Myself
all pain and suffering of the mind
as well as that experience of forsakenness
which is the terrible reward of
all the unredeemed. My death saves
every soul which looks for help
and seeks to turn from sin and self-destruction,
My risen life builds him into that
perfection the Father willed for
him before time was, and My love
identifies in all he suffers and
endures along life's way - as he
continues faithful.
The suffering of the world and
of each person in it is contained
within the Father's caring love
and loving care. Through My incarnate
life, My suffering, death and resurrection,
I bring the Father's love into the
centre of each suffering heart and
mind as it is sought and entertained.
For I am the Father's love. And
I join each loving soul both to
the Father and to the countless
men and women of all times and places
who walk in faith and loving trust
despite all sorrows, pain and suffering
thereby identifying with My loving,
saving purpose.
