St. Bartholomew
Jesus said to Nathaniel, "….I tell you most solemnly, you will see Heaven laid open and above the Son of Man the angels of God ascending and descending."
John 1:51

All that is in Heaven and earth is the promise and the gift to those who persevere to the end, above all and through all is the sight and presence of the Son in glory, with the Father and the whole company of Heaven.

But to see these things and to identify with them there must be that singleness of mind and heart and will which attains to all things through Our saving, sanctifying love. And there must be the eye of faith, continually renewed and fortified through Our life-giving Spirit.

So it was with My faithful followers during My Incarnate life. Through many trials, not infrequent failures, through sadness and sense of loss they persevered to the end, set to fulfil and to attain to that promise which they found within themselves.

I was that hope, as I am the fulfilment throughout time and eternity. So am I both hope and fulfilment, presence and power, light and joy to all who walk in faith and trust and purity of mind and heart.
