St. Eusebius
Jesus taught the crowds who came to Him . " Happy are those who hunger and
thirst for what is right: they shall see God."
Matthew 5:6

To desire earnestly that which is good and right in knowledge, understanding and activity is in some measure to have discovered it. To follow it through, as it is revealed, is to know the truth and peace that passes all knowledge. For no-one progresses along the road to perfection and enlightenment unless he is led and indwelt by Our all-embracing love and directed by Our light and power. Set-backs, sadnesses and even erstwhile failures will beset him along the way no less than others, and he not infrequently suffers even more deeply in experiencing them. They will serve to bind him ever more closely to the Foundation of his being as he is strengthened and comforted from the springs that flow therefrom.

Happy indeed are those whose heart is set on the Father's will in all things, whose whole commitment is to love and praise and honour Him in all things. Their reward is that which they desire and seek. Nor do they wait for that which they earnestly desire, for I am in them revealing and bestowing as they progress in faith and trust and love.
