Jesus said, "Men ought always to pray and not faint."
Luke 18:1

Prayer ones with the Father . It combines faith and love with a commitment of self-giving. For the only thing that any person can do for himself or for his community is to give himself to be used in such way as the Father perceives best .

Prayer should precede action and be the context in which action or work is done. When the issue is satisfactory thanks should be given.

And when the going is difficult or painful the whole situation should be offered in love and hope, never doubting that right will triumph however daunting and puzzling the way. The need is greatest of all at such times to pray faithfully, trusting and in faith. So that when all is done, even as the going is made it may be seen that all is well for those whose life and work is built on the rock of right commitment. The Father and I, through Our loving Holy Spirit, will contain, preserve, pilot And receive - at the last - all who have stayed the course in faithfulness to that which they were given to do and love and suffer.
