Sunday, March 27th
Palm Sunday
The whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God ….saying, "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord ! Peace in Heaven and glory in the highest.
Luke 19:28-40

The peace in Heaven and glory in the highest is a reality which is echoed on earth whenever the Father is glorified and His will done. So do His beloved and loving children share in the blessedness and dispense the peace which is given them. And the glory which the radiance of the Father's Presence is shed around and experienced by the single-minded and totally committed. The occasion of My triumphal entry into Jerusalem in the last days of My life on earth was a brief foretaste of this reality - a curtain-raiser on the fullness of the Father's kingdom. Regard the circumstances. All those who were round about Me - Disciples and faithful followers- were rejoicing and praising the Father for all the mighty works which they had seen. So they raised Me in their hearts and minds as I rode on the humble beast of burden. And the peace and glory which they acclaimed in the heights of heaven invaded and transformed their hearts and minds. Later in the week these faithful, simple people were beguiled by the subtlety, waywardness and ignorance of the evil and the uncommitted. By My sacrifice, suffering and death I redeemed and saved the troubled and bewildered people. By my risen life I resurrected and enlivened their hurt souls and restored them to a condition of growth in the Father's kingdom. Such is the pattern of every human and corporate situation: the Father s King and I His Shepherd in sonship, saving and redeeming, restoring, illuminating and enlivening all who love and live in me.
