Jesus said, "Watch, therefore, and pray always that you may be accounted worthy to escape all those things which shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man"
Luke 21:36

Those who have been blessed with spiritual gifts have a special responsibility towards the Heavenly Father and their fellowmen. According to their insights they are required to grow and to prepare both for the immediate and the ultimate. Only by constant watchfulness and continual recourse to prayer can they be ready for either.

When the day of visitation comes and each has to render his account regarding his achievements in person and in action The Son of Man will rejoice with those who have striven for faithfulness and weep and suffer in those who have served only their selfish ends. And all the faithful will weep and suffer with Him.

But the number of those who arrive unprepared and empty before the Son of Man can be lessened by the concern and love and prayerfulness of those who count themselves faithful. Let the faithful never stand in judgement on those less fortunate but constantly raise their hands in supplication for them as well as in thanksgiving for their own enlightenment and blessings.
