1 Peter 1:18-25. Mark 10:32-45

To love the Lord your God with heart and mind and the whole fabric of your being is to serve Him too, for through the offering of the total self the Father’s will is made known and power to do it given in and through the offering of the Father’s love.

The Father’s love is enabling and empowering. Through the eternal offering of the suffering and death of the Son of Man all faithful in the way are invited to enter in the gates of the Father’s Kingdom of eternal life and light and life and love and identify with the Son of Man who also is the King of Glory.

All who are in Me and I in them are in the Father too. The Father suffers in His suffering world and His beloved and loving Son has honoured the will and loving purpose of the Father by confronting death and sin and separation from His eternal, loving purpose, and by defeating them.

Then receive the living, loving word of the Most High, father of all born into the world, and pray for faithfulness and obedience in the way that you may know Hs will and do it according to His loving propose.
