1 Kings 2:16, 6-14 Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18

Desire and seek the Father’s will in all things. He will direct your going in the way as you are faithful and obedient in Our love: I speak to every one of the Father’s beloved sons and daughters. Pray constantly for grace and power to do the Father’s will through My indwelling and the light and guiding of 0ur Holy Spirit.

The gifts the Father gives to all who follow in the way He opens up for them, as they continue faithful, are for growth in life eternal and service to and in His Kingdom in His world. The contribution of the one to the whole is small but it is important in the well-being of the whole as it is sought in commitment to the Father’s will and loving purpose. And the Father is glorified in the willing and the faithful in His love.

Joy and strengthening in the way are the Father’s gifts to the faithful and the true of heart who continue faithful to the end. But greatest of all is the gift of the Father’s Presence which is offered and made possible in and through the grace and power of Our redeeming, sanctifying love.
