1 Kings 17:7-16. Matthew 5:13-16

The word of the Most High is spoken to every one of His beloved sons and daughters: it is heard by one and all who listen and wait upon His will and loving purpose. He reveals truth to all who seek it and directs all in the way who look for guidance in their coming and their going. And it brings sustenance and support to those needing it and satisfaction to all obeying it.

All responding to their heavenly Father’s word are given the means of reacting to it in the grace and power of Our love. All receiving Our life and light and love in their heart and mind are empowered for and in right action as they continue faithful: the good achieved is Our dynamic love in them and lightens others who observe it and relate to it.

Continue in the way, then, in faith and trust and self-giving: I speak to every one who seeks their heavenly Father’s will in the context of His loving purpose, for ‘your light must shine in the sight of men that they may see your good works and give praise to your Father in heaven’ (Matthew 5:16)
