Jesus taught "……After this manner pray ye, Our Father who art in Heaven….."
Matthew 6:9
Jesus said, "I am the True Vine".
John115:1

The Name of the Father is to be kept holy; all approaches to Him and activities in His name must be as pure as it is possible to keep them.

And the way to singleness of mind and purpose in this, the greatest of all human enterprises, is in and through Me.

Rest in Me. Abide in Me. And seek to let Me rest and abide in you. So shall My life course through your very life-blood and into the core of your spirit. And you will grow into a strong, sturdy branch of My substance and being, glorifying your Heavenly Father by your presence in Me and your witness to His world.

But your identity and purpose, and the core of your innermost being, must relate through your life in Me and the power of Our Holy Spirit, to the Author and Sustainer of your being. Your life, cherished and fed in Me, must increasingly serve and glorify your Heavenly Father. Only in such dedication and orientation will the alienated be drawn back into the fold.

The Father and I are one, and the unity of identity and purpose which exists in Us must be reflected in some measure in the lives of those who claim discipleship. Faithfulness is the key; alert attention and faithful reaction to that which is received. The sensitive, healthy branch brings grace and beauty and fruitfulness to the whole tree, showing the strength and beauty of the life which produces it.
