………..Peace at the last…….

This is awarded to every child of the Father who has loved and lived in loving obedience.

It is needful that each night, as the Father's committed children lies down to rest, they offer all that they are, all that they have done and everything in which they are involved to their Heavenly Father's care and keeping. There it will rest and grow and prosper. His holy angels will minister to the relaxed soul,. and those who now serve him in the freedom of their liberated lives will work on all that has been given to do and bring about in their work and activity. . So peace at the end of the busy day is both a gift for life lived fully and work faithfully done.

So it is at the end of life. Those who have worked faithfully in love and trust , committing themselves to their Heavenly Father's care, will be received into everlasting joy. And they will be united with all they have known and loved down the years and have progressed to the mansions of the blest.

And the one is conditional upon the other. As the daily peace has been sought at the day's end and received in confidence and trust, so will it be bestowed and received in joy on the last day on earth.

I am at the heart's centre at the ending of the day and at the parting of body and soul.
