Jesus told His Disciples a parable about the need to pray continually and never lose heart.
Luke 18:1

Prayer is commitment to and communication with the Creator and Sustainer of the soul's being. As it is without question or doubt that He who has called a beloved child into being will sustain, progress and fulfil according to the desire and commitment of that child, so is it inevitable that that child will be perfected and fulfilled only through and in His loving care. Restlessly and without joy the uncommitted soul travels the road of life without knowledge or understanding of the path he travels, fuelling his being with that which fails to satisfy.

But he who prays receives that which is necessary for himself and others, the very substance of Our Being and power. As each commits his way and creatureliness to Our enduring love, so is he centred and surrounded by that which he desires. And in the process of time and endeavour all is perfected and fulfilled through My Indwelling, Our Spirit's guiding and enlightening, and the Father's all-embracing love. So pray continually, and live in love.
