Ecclesiasticus 3:19-21.30-31
Hebrews 12:18-19,22-24. Luke 14:a, 7-14

You have nothing save that which you have been given by the Father, Lord Most High, and all is given to bring you to joy and fulfilment in His Presence as you offer all you have and all you are to His loving purpose. In loving service and absolute self-giving the Father’s purpose is fulfilled, His will done by the one and many obedient to His Word and faithful in His Love, even to the end.

Glorify the Father in all things, praise His holy Name and realise your dependence on His light and life and power and leading. Be generous to one and all and remember, in your being and your doing, that ‘he who exalts himself will be humbled and the man who humbles will be exalted’ and that ‘the Son of Man came not to be ministered to but to minister and to give His life as a ransom for many’. (Mark 10:45, 1Timothy 2:6. Matthew 23:12., 1 Peter 5:6.)
