St. Columban
Isaiah 52:7-10. Luke 9:57-62

Light and joy and peace are given to all who take the Word of life into mind and heart and soul. And they are, in due time, enabled to be Our peace and light and joy to others. For I am the Father's Word Incarnate, and with the dynamic of Our Holy Spirit, the power and glory of His Presence in the world.

But all committed to the way of life of absolute self-giving, who know and do the Father's will, identifying with the Father's loving purpose, seek nothing for themselves. Their obedience is their fullness and perfection, and through the power of My Indwelling, they are brought into the Father's glorious Presence in eternity.
