Jesus said, "Stand up and go on your way. Your faith has saved you."
Mark 2:11

It is not that faith itself has power to save : it may, indeed, give sustaining power for a brief moment , for it fortifies every sinew of the being. The reason why faith saves is because it provides a bridge from the mortal to the eternal . And love and power and light flood across that bridge once it is in place, to flood the heart and mind and soul of the one who has built that bridge, however tenuously.

All power is from the Father. I am His surrogate on earth. Our Holy Spirit penetrates and binds, illuminates and leads. And all is surrounded in boundless love, saving only those elements which choose to refuse through perversity or the pursuit of evil.

Most who do not pursue the way of love in faith and self-abandon follow sometimes aimlessly and without joy. They neither experience the joy nor suffer the pain of commitment. But they are unfulfilled and unknowingly await the challenge of self-giving.

But the way of faith is the way of progress , of growth and maturity, and the way of fulfilment at the last. Those who embrace faith to their fullest capacity have joy even now in the knowledge of love and the sure hope of eternal Joy.
