Jesus made a tour round the village teaching. Then He summoned the Twelve and began to send them out in pairs , giving them authority over evil spirits……….and anointed many sick people with oil and cured them.
Mark 6:7-13

Here is the heart of the matter without which no beloved child of the Father can serve Him or grow into that perfection which He has designed for Him, namely, a turning towards Him in order to know Him and progress in the way of His Kingdom. Each child of the Kingdom must take the path offered by the Father, walking in it with all the guidance and resources which will be given Him.

Some there are who are called to the ministry of healing, both clergy and laity. It is a serious and most responsible charge laid upon those set apart for this ministry which needs must be entered into with prayer and commitment to My Name and saving love. So will healing and wholeness be given and the Father glorified.

This is a work and ministry of the whole Church. Those specially chosen and sent forth to heal and cast out evil spirits must be supported and strengthened by the love and prayers of the local church. So will the Kingdom of the Father be extended and enriched and many will find their way to the Father's Kingdom through the faithfulness and loving service of those committed to the Father' will and the service of their fellowmen.
