In tuas manuas, Domine

Into the centre I lead you - of living and loving , of suffering and of action. And I am there at every point, seeking to strengthen, to comfort and endow all the qualities needed to meet every encounter.

Never fear that your resources will be inadequate in any way . Continue to care for and suffer in him whom you are given to tend , to work for and watch over. His future will be shown, and he will be made adequate to embrace it.

Remember the vital necessity of rest in every aspect of the body - rest of the mind, and deep, contemplative rest of the spirit. This last is deep attainment in the centre of your being to the music I continually offer you. There you will receive and hear all that is necessary to repair your body and - where necessary - your mind. And you will receive light for your understanding and nourishment for the spirit.

Rejoice in the constant joys which surround you - the songs of the birds, the enlivening sun, the interest and concern and love of friends, and - above all - in the conspiracy of joy and love and fulfilment in which, with countless others both in the world and in the life beyond earthly existence, you are involved,
