Like as the hart desires the water-brook, so longs the living soul for the wells of the Father's providing. And these issue from His Being and His bounty. So many seek only the bounty and remain deprived of The Presence because they do not desire it with their whole heart.

Such are the saints : the children of the Father who, having been drawn into the loving embrace of the Father's Being . are cleansed and become living , ready channels for his love to pour into the hearts and lives of others. And the more they are so used by Divine Love the more they desire The Divine Presence , and they seek it more and more.

Yet such perpetual longing is creative to the soul and all with whom it comes into contact . Sad and deprived is the soul of that child of the Father who has no desire or longing for the Father's Presence. What the world considers the fulfilled life with every conceivable endowment of the world's goods is emptiness and unprofitable living if here is no desire for the wells of the Father's love.

And the reason is that men and women are the children of the Father, created by Him and destined to live in perpetual joy with all who have attained their fullness through My sacrifice and the grace and the power of Our Holy Spirit.

Seek the water brooks and you will find them and be filled.
