Obedience in all things illuminates the way and brings all the resources needful to walk in it strongly and profitably.

Those who are illumined in The Way and see and understand the purpose of the journey have deep responsibility for themselves and for others. To fall or turn aside when the light is obscured - for whatever reason – is serious for the soul’s well-being if there is no return to The Way. But when The Way is seen and understood the outcome can be serious – even deadly.

Let no-one desire to progress faster than it is given him. Periods of growth and enlightenment must be followed by times of quiet and faithful reaction to that which has been taken into the system. Patience and willingness to retrace steps when the wrong route is temporarily take, readiness to be raised speedily to take the way again, and always a looking towards the light ahead and the knowledge of an accompanying Presence – all these qualities are vital for the wayfarer committed to the way of truth and love. And all are endowed increasingly as they are practised.

The way is the same for each and every one, and although it may seem often to be lonely it is never meant to be travelled alone. Various the characters may be, multifarious in kind; each should live and work to discover an awareness of his corporate solidarity in his unique and treasured place in the heart of Love.
