Thanksgiving is creative, joy-making, infectious, contagious for good. So, often thank your Heavenly Father for the gifts and blessings He is continually showering upon you. Above all thank Him for the opportunities He affords you of serving and helping others, of providing a channel for His love and My operation in the world in the of light and by the power of Our Holy Spirit.

“Why are channels needed?” You may ask, “Cannot the Almighty Creator work directly in the vessels of His creation?” The contingency of need of human co-operation brings Him great joy and the deepest sorrow – deeper than anything the world has ever known. The joy – and this is by far the greater part – comes from the growth and maturity of those men and women and children who do so co-operate and bring wholeness to themselves and healing and growth in the Father’s Kingdom on earth. And the sadness and sorrow lie in the separation from Him of His beloved children who by wilful sin, self-centredness or sloth reject His love, denying their part in Him, rejecting their place in His Kingdom.

The Father’s pain I share without ceasing. For salvation I lived and died and rose again. Nor were these – My life and death and resurrection - isolated incidents through time and eternity: every child of the Father born into the world is invited and challenged in and through the all-embracing love of the Father, My grace and in the light and power of our Holy Spirit – to experience entry into the Kingdom of the Father - soul-fellowship, redemptive participation in Me, identification with the Father’s loving purpose, and joyful sharing in Eternal Love.
