Leo the Great
Ecclesiasticus 39:9-14. Matthew 16:13-19

The knowledge of the Most High is given to the faithfully committed in love and absolute self-giving. This may be found in the mind and heart of the simple, humble, faithful soul and in the scholar of integrity and compassionate commitment who seeks the Father's will and loving purpose in all he thinks and says and does.

Scholars, administrators and spiritual leaders are called to conspire together to extend and to consolidate the Father's Kingdom as they are enabled by the light and power of Our indwelling. So will they harness to themselves the power of the Most High in their undertakings as they continue faithful to their individual and united purpose.

Many have so worked and witnessed in their time and are lights and inspiration in every generation.
