Palm Sunday
Isaiah 50:4-9a, Phil. 2:5-11. Luke 23:1-49

Keep close to Me this Passiontide, believing. Accompany Me in all I suffered and experienced in My earthly life in My last days before My death: such is the challenge and the privilege of all My followers. So will I give to you and to all the faithfully committed in Our love the fruits of My redemption and life eternal. Rejoice today, recalling My triumphal journey to the Holy City. Add your acclaim of My kingship and My sovereignty; enjoy your solidarity with all who accept the rule of love which is the power and glory of the Father. Learn the true cost of discipleship and be prepared for suffering in the way.

In humility and self-giving I journeyed to the end of My obedient offering to the Father and to the sons of men. Such is the way for all the sons of men who seek the Father's will and loving purpose. And I am with each one as they pursue their way in love, humility and self-giving. I am their comfort, strength and great reward; and I bring them to the fullness of eternal life in the glorious Presence of the Father and of all the redeemed and sanctified.
