St. Nicolas
I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? Who will be Our messenger
Isaiah 6:8
Jesus said. "…. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send labourers to His harvest."
Luke 10:2

The Lord, the Father of all creation, the initiator of all that is in Heaven and earth, has ordained all things to serve His glorious eternal purpose. The sons of men He courteously invites to share His marvellous creation and each to have his part and place in it. Each child of man the Father calls to be and do those things which he is shown within the context of the whole as life unfolds for him. The fabric of his life, his deeds, relationships, his griefs and setbacks become his offering when at the end of time he stands before his loving Heavenly Father.

I am the Father's Word to each and every one, his love, His means for purposeful activity. Each is enabled to respond within the context of his faith and nation, tribe and time. As each beloved child of man responds to that which he perceives as call and challenge to become and do the Father's will, however dimly he perceives it , so will he have the Father's commendation at the end, and take his place in joy with countless thousands of his fellow-men.
