Wednesday, April 11th

On this day of My incarnate life I rested at Bethany. The King had been proclaimed Lord of all the faithful in the Name of the Father; the Prophet had taught and cleansed the centre of the people's worship ; and the Son of Man was now to enter the arena of man's salvation. And so He rested to draw to Himself all the resources of His loving Heavenly Father.

A quiet seeking after the quiet which is at the heart of creation is necessary for all the father's children at all times, and particularly when the going is difficult and demanding . As the soul comes to rest from the busy turmoil of activity so is it to be found by the peace which passes all knowledge . And in the peace the Father's Word and Saving Love ministers the resources of the father. So all weariness is taken away, hurts are cleansed and healed, and new strength is bestowed for that which lies ahead.

Time and opportunity must be sought by each and every one of the father's faithful ones if progress is to be made in becoming and doing. And each day should have its time and place for withdrawal however circumscribed that may be.

And seek to provide an oasis for others as My beloved friends at Bethany did for me.
