1 Samuel 16:1-13. Mark 2:23-28

Consecrate your whole self to the Most High, father of one all in His created world, called to serve Him in faith and trust and love and absolute self-giving. He will protect and lead and guide you in His loving purpose as you give yourself to Love’s indwelling: ‘obedience to is better than sacrifice and to listen to Him than the fat of rams’ (1 Sam 15:22).

The Father’s will is known in and through His Word and His Love prompts all thought and action in all committed to His loving purpose. But pray constantly for the guiding of Our Holy Spirit to guide and lead you according to the Father’s will and loving purpose (Psalm 119:43).

“For each one of us there is only one thing necessary: to fulfil our own destiny according to God's will - to be what God wants us to be.” (Thomas Merton: No Man Is an Island).
