Ash Wednesday
Joel 2:12-18. 2 Corinthians 5:10-6:2 Matthew 6:1-6

Glorify your loving heavenly Father. Deny your self that you may know and do His will, and identify with your brothers and your sisters in the way.

All born into the world are sons and daughters of the Father, called to His Presence and His service in and through His beloved and loving Son and the grace and power of Our Holy Spirit.

Put on the garment of salvation and follow the Son of Man according to the Father’s will and loving purpose in self denial and self giving.

The Father’s word is spoken to each one in the silence of eternity and in the fellowship of meeting. In prayer and sacrament receive again the grace of Him who loved you into being and who sustains and calls to perfection and fulfilment in Him with all made perfect in His Love since time began and will continue to the end of time and in eternity.
