Romans 11:29-36. Luke 14:12-14

The Lord your God is love, joy, peace, mercy and fulfilment in all who seek his will and loving purpose. All good gifts, material and spiritual, come from Him: nothing is or was or ever shall be except he wills or allows, and all according to His loving purpose.

But the Lord God, creator of all things in earth and heaven, is the Lord of all, father of all that lives and moves and has its being: the sons and daughters of His love He has brought forth through His light and life and love and through His incarnate word and Our loving Holy Spirit to union with Himself and to become partners with one another in the vast process of creation and redemption.

All owe their life and light and love to Him who brought them into being and who confers upon them – the least in men’s eyes as well as the greatest – the tremendous honour of co-partnership with Him as they offer all they have and all they are to Him in humility, faith and trust and love and absolute self-giving.
