St. Sebastian
1 Peter 3:14-17. Matt. 10:28-33

Trust and be faithful: your welfare is of paramount importance to the Father as is the welfare of each child of man. It is the lack of trust which brings uncertainty in life and living, doubt which clouds the heart and mind, and sin and failure which confound all peace and progress.

I, the Father's son beloved and loving, am man's advocate and redeemer. Through My life and death and risen life I bring salvation to all who confess their sin and failure and seek new life in Me. I am their way, their truth, their life. And as I live in them and they in Me so they become the Father's witnesses to love: Our loving Holy Spirit lights and leads their way in life eternal.

And when opposition comes, and suffering, let It not overwhelm the soul. The Father loves and cares for every one of His beloved sons and daughters and enfolds each one in His all-powerful care as they commit themselves to Him. Let all who suffer offer all their pain to Me: so will they share My suffering and I will take the burden of their suffering into My eternal offering to the Father . That offering is love.
