Jesus said, "The Son of Man is destined to suffer grievously, to be rejected by the elders and chief priests and to be put to death, and to be raised up on the third day,"
Luke 9:22
"Anyone who finds his life will lose it: anyone who loses his life for My sake will find it."
Matthew 10:39

Such is the price of redemption: such is the reward of salvation. And the whole of the Father's wonderful suffering world is caught up in both cost and reward in the glorious progress and fulfilment and perfection of His loving purpose.

Let the eyes of Our committed ones be unceasingly and increasingly open, their hearts enfired and their wills engaged in this great and marvellous work. And let the sorrows and pain and sadnesses be endured with patience and with an underlying spirit of joy, identifying with the sorrow and suffering of the Son of Man in love and in humility.

And let there be no doubt regarding the end towards which all is progressing. The whole of created being is an expression of the Father's all-embracing all-pervading love. Though fraught with pain and not infrequent sorrow in time, the whole is destined to be caught up in joy and glorious fulfilment in the Father, with the angels, archangels and with all the redeemed and sanctified.
