St. Matthew
Jesus saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's book. "Follow Me", He told him ……... "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
Matthew 9:9-13

All the children of men are called to become sons of God. And every son of God the world over and in every age is called to be and to do that which the Heavenly Father wills in His loving purpose for the one and the many. All are free to choose the measure of their self-giving, or to turn away from the hope of their calling. And the loving Heavenly Father accepts each and every one at any stage and time just as they are. Was Matthew required to reform his life before his calling? His turning and faithful following was the only response looked for and needed and so it is with all the Father's children the world over.

For righteousness and perfection are the gifts which I bestow in the course of faithful following, however feebly and falteringly the going is made. Healing comes from My compassionate love, wholeness from My redemption and risen life.

And so I call all sinners and make them righteous as they relate to Our light and life and love. And at the end of time the Father will receive them from My hands to rejoice for ever in His Presence.
