The Disciples asked Jesus, "Who can be saved?" Jesus looked at them and said, for men this is impossible, but everything is possible for God."
Matthew 19:25-26

Without this understanding of human frailty and limitation the good life is well-nigh impossible. Moreover, the Father's loving purpose for the beloved child is obscured by the constant search for noble commitment and action in a naughty world; the result is often disillusion and not infrequent failure.

But it is the "Father's good pleasure to give you His Kingdom", and to give it to each and every one of His beloved children, as it is to bestow virtue on all who seek it in truth , sincerity, humility and love.

For this I lived on earth, died, and rose again. Through My death the Father's human creation may have life as they offer to Me their frailty in penitence and their redeemed selfhood in commitment and love. As Our loving Holy Spirit sanctifies, illumines and guides in life and living, so does each faithfully committed one progress towards that perfection which is laid up for him in eternity. "For men this is impossible, but everything is possible for God."
