The whole town set out to meet Jesus, and as soon as they saw Him they implored Him to leave the neighbourhood
Matthew 8:34

A strange and wonderful event is not sufficient to challenge the many into fulness of life. One by one each must come with mind freed from fear, bias and prejudice, heart liberated and will ready to be employed in that which inspires the heart and mind. And as each stretches out towards the means of enlightenment and growth so will he be rewarded by that which he seeks. For the loving initiative which prompts the first stirrings will be revealed as the means and the end. And he will discover the joy of lively and joyful corporateness by association with others along the way.

But for those who refuse the challenge which from time to time is offered in the circumstance of daily life and who cling to the trappings of material well-being there is neither joy nor satisfaction. These desire only to turn their back on things which call them out of their slough of despondency and unrecognised despair. These, too, are the Father's beloved children. Pray for them; be always ready to react towards them in love.
