Tuesday, July 3rd
The doors were closed, but Jesus came in and stood among them.
"Peace be with you," He said

John 20:19-20

Be aware of My Presence at all times, and let my peace be always in your heart and mind. So will you receive the power of Our Holy Spirit as you live and work in the pattern of Our guiding.

And as I increasingly become the Father's peace to you as you relate to My Presence in you, so will you become My peace to those around you. But I shall be the peace as you more faithfully relate to My life and the Father's loving will and good purpose.

The pains and problems of life are but incidents along the way for those who entertain Me in their hearts and minds; they serve but to bind Me more closely with the true in heart.

But there must be constant watchfulness against the unquiet spirit, the priority of selfhood: the natural self is bound but alive, always waiting to take charge of the redeemed, sanctified self. I as the power, the peace and the perfection of all who offer themselves in loving commitment and with Thomas acclaim "My Lord and My God."
