The angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, " Get up, take the child and His Mother with you and escape into Egypt …" Joseph got up and taking the young child and His mother with him left for Egypt
Matthew 2:13-15

See how the thoughts and intentions and actions of the children of men are known to the Most High. And see how He guards and guides those committed to His loving purpose. But note, too, the sensitivity and awareness of the obedient child of God. Take careful heed of both and fashion yourself and the pattern of your life accordingly.

The witnesses to truth and goodness in the world of men will always be at risk from that which seeks to destroy in the hearts and minds of the uncommitted, whether those witnesses are in word or deed or humankind themselves. Was not the Perfect Witness to the Father's love, the Incarnate Word Himself, cruelly treated and put to death because He bore witness to truth? And the innocents of Bethlehem were slain in their helpless infancy by the enraged tyrant who feared his own powerlessness?

But those who commit themselves and their lives to selfless love are safe in the hands of the Most High. Even death itself cannot harm them and is often the gateway to an earlier and more direct progression to the Kingdom of light and fulness of joy where Love reigns for evermore.

See the finger of the Most High in all things and people, in experiences both good and painful. And know that nothing need separate you from the fulness of His love or the certainty of His protection.
