St. John the Evangelist
Mary of Magdala said, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb and we don't know where they have put Him". Peter, who was following, went right into the tomb. John reached the tomb first but did not go in. He saw and believed
John 20:2-9

Herein is identified the various reactions of men and women to the truth presented to them: some are perplexed in mind, not knowing the cause of the phenomenon they encountered, some seeing beyond the facts but unable to interpret their meaning. And some perceive and know.

To all the Word of Truth presents Himself , calling out in each that which will make things plain and challenging to understanding and truth and action. And in the response is the key to progress, maturity and fulfilment in the way. In all these things the Love of the Father is revealed, penetrating to the innermost part of the redeemed and sanctified selfhood - as it is offered. And through Our Holy Spirit the beloved child of the Father is incorporated into the Divine order of eternal joy, becoming a ready instrument for the progressing into that order of others who seek.

Rejoice, then, those who, like John, see and believe. This joy no 0ne can take away, and there is nothing more real and priceless in the whole wide world. In and through your joy others will be drawn into the aura o the Father's love where all things become plain, and become incorporated into the Divine order of eternal joy. And as you identify with the love and commitment of the Beloved Disciple so do you become one with his joy.
