Zechariah prophesied saying ………."You, child, will be called prophet of the Most High , for you will go before the Lord to prepare His way…..to give light…..
to guide…….into the way of peace"
Luke 1:76-79

The Lord and Father who created, sustains and protects all that He has created from evil and final destruction ( who look to Him in faith), who builds all up in love who desire and seek it, calls each and every one to His service . And His service is to praise and glorify Him in joy and to care for and cherish every one of His children on earth as it is given; it is given to all to pray and to exercise loving kindness in the heart and mind to the one and the many And to each and every one is given particular call and challenge according to the disposition and place in the divine plan of each. No one is excluded, though everyone is free to accept or to reject his glorious destiny in time and through eternity.

The glorious destiny of the humble son of a Jewish priest was to announce the coming on earth of the Son of the Most High. The coming was to establish hope and the means of fulfilment for all and a pattern of life and living in he way. So He did, and so came the Joy of the Father on earth to secure man's joy in the Father in the fulness of time. And each and every child of the Father is graciously and gloriously commissioned to share with the son of the Jewish priest who prepared the way for the Incarnate Word a measure of the same destiny - in some measure. For as each is given light and direction and peace so is he, according to his commitment, a lighthouse and powerhouse for other children of the Father in and through the Son and our Holy and blessed Spirit.
