St. Ignatius
of Antioch, Bishop, and martyr - d.107
Philippians
3:17-4:1. John 12:24-26
Service and self-giving are the
hall-marks of the faithful sons
and daughters of the Father. They
are transformed into the likeness
of the Son of Man as they respond
to the Father’s Word in the
grace and power of His Love and
seek the Father’s will in
all things, as the Father’s
Word and Love Incarnate sought the
Father’s will in all things.
Death to self and responding to
the Father’s love is life
eternal. Follow Me through Gethsemane
to the place of Golgotha that you
may know and begin to understand
the cost of man’s redemption
and enter in the precincts of the
place of suffering love and the
Father’s purpose for His beloved
sons and daughters of all times
and places. ‘…..’In
truth, in very truth I tell you,
a grain of wheat remains a solitary
grain unless it falls into ground
and dies; but if it dies it bears
a rich harvest ………..if
anyone serves Me He must follow
Me; where I am My servant will be.
Whoever serves me will be honoured
by My Father’. John 12:24-26.
