St. Aloysius of Gonzaga
1 John 5:1-5. Matthew 22:34-40

Singleness of mind and purity of heart are vital for following in the way We lead and guide. The attentive mind to the word We speak, the heart warmed by Our Presence in the soul - both are necessary for the earnest seeker after truth, essential for all who seek the fulness of eternal life. Gradually as the mind is dedicated to the truth in love and in self-giving, the heart to loving service, the Father's will is shown and power given to identify and do it in the power of Our saving, sanctifying love. So has it been from the beginning and many sons and daughters of the Father have been faithful and obedient to it. And they have borne witness to the dynamic of our Presence in their lives by their joyful, service to the Father and their fellow men and women.
