Wisdom 2:1,12-22. John 1:1-2, 10, 25-30

Search for the Father's will in all things great and small and He will orientate you into the way of obedience and self-giving. Herein is fullness in eternal life as you continue faithful, uniting you both with the total Godhead and with the Father's world.

For I am the Father's love in you as I am welcomed and accommodated in your soul. And Our Holy Spirit enlightens heart and mind and guides you in the way of service and self-giving.But there will be hostility and opposition in the pilgrimage of life from many sources. Did I not suffer both, and lack of understanding in the one and in the many? In My Incarnate life I suffered all that the faithful often suffer, and so much more. For I bore the sins of men upon the cross of shame and sorrow, contumely and unutterable anguish .

All suffering can be redemptive, and all are called to identify in all things with the triumphant, suffering Son of Man. Is it not written in Holy Record, "Sorrow abides for a season but joy comes in the morning".
