Tuesday, January 15th
In the morning Jesus got up long before dawn, left the house,
and went off to a lonely place and prayed there
Mark 1:35

Fatigue of body and mind is remedied by rest of the limbs and sleep for the mind. And the dark hours of the night are rightly set aside by man to restore the powers dispensed in the day's activities.

But all the Father's children must seek time and opportunity to rest the tired spirit, refresh the springs of action and seek the Father's will if they are to grow, mature and contribute to their world.

A quiet waiting upon the Father's will and loving purpose, with the offering of the total self, are all that is required for progress in this essential part of daily living. From time to time a longer space is helpful, a day or two or more for deep relaxed and purposeful refreshment of the spirit.

Then Our peace and love and certainties can be implanted in the soul through Our Indwelling. So may the total self return to daily life and living restored, orientated and empowered to become the instrument of the Father's loving.
