We can be sure that we love God's children if we love God Himself and do what He has commanded us: this is what loving God is - keeping His commandments
1 John :5:2

There is no child of the Father - and everyone who has ever lived or ever will is a beloved child of the Father - who has not known and been called to respond to the light of His love and the power of His Presence. And as each responds in the inner recesses of mind and heart and will so do the light and love become a part of the very being of each and every one. This is the process of life and living, and the differences of human nature, approach and response are as varied as the flowers by the wayside. But where light and love are refused there is neither life in the soul nor progress in the way.

The love which each soul receives as it responds to Our loving approaches in the comings and goings of daily life grows and expands as the soul reacts in loving obedience to that which is found in the way. As the mind is alert to identify the Father's leading, the heart and mind ready to embark on that which is presented, that child of the Father thus poised through love and self-giving will both glorify Him and lovingly serve his brother also. And We will bring him to perfection in time and eternity.
