Then said Jesus to His Disciples, "Anyone who wants to be great among you must be your slave, just as the Son of Man came not to be served
but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many"
Matthew 20:28

Service is joy for all who truly love. And such seek no reward save the satisfaction of knowing that their service is acceptable and that it is well done. And as I saved mankind through My loving commitment even unto death so must all who call me 'Lord' commit themselves first to the Father in and through My saving love and so to each and every one of their fellowmen as it is given and shown them.

Readiness with commitment is the keystone to true service and growth in love. In the service of the one and many it is necessary constantly to seek the light of Our guiding so that all .may be brought into the glorious pattern of the Father's loving purpose. There must be a constant awareness of the peril from self-glorification when success is given in the way. For all goodness and strength for action is given for service . It is foolish and dangerous to take to oneself any credit or glory.

So rejoice in the challenge to service and serve in the joy of self-giving , for love is the means and the reward.
