1 Corinthians
1:26-31. Matthew 9:35-38
Rejoice that the Most High calls
you to His Presence in the grace
and power of Our redeeming, sanctifying
Love. Praise His Holy Name, and
pray that as He receives you into
His service through Love’s
indwelling and Our loving Holy Spirit,
and empowers you to do His will,
you will continue faithful in the
Way according to His will and loving
purpose.
‘The harvest is rich but the
labourers are few’ (Matt,
9:37-38). Pray that the Father’s
love may be known and received by
those who suffer and are in need
of help and healing, and that you
and all who seek to follow in the
steps of the Son of Man may become
Our love to those to whom We lead
and guide.
‘Strive to live content in
the midst of those things that cause
your distress. Free your mind from
all that troubles you. God will
take care of things. You will be
unable to make haste in this (choice)
without, so to speak, grieving the
mind of God, because He sees that
you do not honour Him sufficiently
with holy trust in Him. Trust in
Him, I beg you, and you will have
fulfilment of what your heart desires’.
(Saint Vincent de Paul, Letters).
