Maccabees 2:15-29. Luke 19:41-44

Life is given to the sons of men to grow and prosper in the Father’s world, gifts and blessings to each, both individual and corporate. And all are called – alone and together – to search for meaning and for purpose which are given as response is made to Our light and leading.

All are free to choose their way, but choice involves consequences: how could it be otherwise? The cumulative consequence of wrong choice is suffering - not only for the one but for the many – on those who chose the way of light and life and truth as well as those who rejected it.

Yet God is love and He has triumphed through the suffering, death and risen life of His beloved Son, His Word Incarnate and Incarnate Love. Identify in sacrifice of self and absolute self-giving as you are led and guided by Our Holy Spirit.
