The Feast of Dedication of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin
Jesus said to the moneychangers and those who sold pigeons, "It is written 'My house shall be called a house of prayer but you have made it a den of robbers'"
Matthew 21:13

The Father made the world and world of worlds as an extension of His glory, power and love. And man He made to share with Him the joy of Our Transcendent Kingdom and freely to co-operate in His most great and glorious plan of bringing His created world into the Kingdom of His Eternal Presence. And so He made His earth to be a house of prayer for each and every nation and of every time. And so it is for all who seek and do His will: so has it been since time began. So shall it be until the end of time.

And as it is for His created universe so is it for each child of man whoever lived. Each one created in His image through His love, according to His will and loving purpose, is called to be a dwelling place of His eternal love through the light and guiding of Our Holy Spirit and the power of Our saving, sanctifying Presence. But each is free to choose or to refuse his glorious destiny.

Pray ceaselessly and work through thought and action that the Father's will be done in His beloved human world that His beloved children increasingly become His house of prayer through the power of Our indwelling.
