Jesus said, "I am the Good Shepherd:
the good shepherd is one who lays down his life for his sheep."
John 10:11

There is no substitute for caring love. The Father gave His Son to suffer and to die for man's redemption. So greatly does He love each child of man. And I, the Father's Son, am one with Him in all things. For love of Him and of each child of man I lived a human life in all its fullness and its limitations: for Him and for each one of His beloved children I laid it down. And the Father gave Me victory over sin and death, enabling Me to offer life eternal to every one who seeks and follows faithfully.

I shepherd all who travel in the way, retrieving and restoring every one who falls or wanders from the way as he seeks reconciliation with the Father and his fellow men. And as he seeks he finds and through his finding discovers his own worth both to his loving Heavenly Father and to Me.

As I laid down My life to bring each faithful follower into life eternal so do I invite each one to give himself in love and in self-giving to the Father's glorious, loving purpose, identifying with My life and death and My redemptive offering through My Indwelling and the light and power of Our Holy Spirit.
