Anyone who does the will of God remains for ever
2 John 17

He who knows the Father's will and seeks to do it already has eternal life. Without Our Presence in his heart and mind illuminating, guiding and empowering there is no light or power or means of knowing.

But there is nothing static in that life which is the witness to Our Presence. The committed follower in the way must go from strength in humility and obedience, in penitence when that is necessary, in joy, thanksgiving, in faith and hope, in love and in self-giving.

So does the faithful one make progress through the power of Our direction and Indwelling: through his obedience and his faithfulness We are enabled to create the fabric of his soul in that unique and lovely pattern the Father willed for it from the beginning. And he will have that perfect fellowship with all the faithful who with the angels and archangels and the whole company of Heaven praise and adore the Lord of earth and Heaven, the Source of joy and peace and light and love.
